Doggy is the loud, lovable leader of the Construction Crew. He talks nonstop, laughs at his own jokes, and somehow manages to get the job done while causing chaos along the way. If there’s noise on site, it’s usually him. Catchphrase: “Doggy’s doing it!” Role: Site Boss / Lead Builder THE DIGGER
Jeromme “Doggy” — The Digger
Real name: Backhoe Loader Kids’ name: Digger Doggy’s machine is the classic yellow digger with a front bucket and a rear excavator arm. It’s loud, busy, and always in the middle of the action — exactly like him.
Bobby
Bobby is Doggy’s quieter, sensible brother. He’s the steady pair of hands who keeps the job moving while Doggy keeps everyone entertained. Bobby doesn’t say much, but when he does, it’s usually the thing that saves the day. Role: Co‑Builder / Voice of Reason

Nancy – The Van
Nancy runs the office, the radio, the paperwork, the schedules, and the boys. She’s sharp, organised, and always three steps ahead. Without her, the Construction Crew would still be trying to find the right spanner. Role: Office Boss / Radio Operator

Colin -The Dumper
Sweet, slow, and always trying his best, Colin is the apprentice everyone loves. He’s eager to help, even if he sometimes gets sent for “a long weight” or “a bubble for the spirit level.” He never quite realises he’s being teased — and that’s why they adore him. Role: Apprentice / Helper

Andrew (never “Andy”) Landrover
Andrew is the quiet, clever one of the team. He plans, measures, checks, and re‑checks everything. He gets easily irritated by Doggy’s noise, but secretly enjoys the madness. He’s the brains of the operation, even if he pretends he’s not.
