All Cosmos items are handmade, hand‑printed, or hand‑finished with care. We want you to be delighted with your order, and this page explains how returns, refunds, and delivery times work.

2. Returns Eligibility

You may return non‑personalised items within 14days Days of delivery if they are:

  • Unused
  • Unopened
  • In original packaging

We cannot accept returns for:

Clearance or final‑sale items

Personalised or custom‑made items

Digital downloads

Gift cards

3. Handmade Variations

All Cosmos products are made by hand. This means:

  • Small variations in colour, shape, swirl pattern, or finish are normal
  • Handmade items are not factory‑identical
  • Minor cosmetic differences are not considered faults

4. Chocolates – Melting, Breakage & Storage

Melting in Transit

Chocolate is sensitive to heat. We package carefully, but we cannot control temperatures during delivery.

  • Softening, slight melting, or white “bloom” marks are not classed as damage
  • Refunds are not offered for heat‑related melting unless the item is completely unusable
  • If your chocolates arrive fully melted into liquid, please contact us within 48 hours with photos

Breakage

If chocolates arrive broken:

  • Email us within 48 hours
  • Include photos of the packaging and item
  • We will offer a replacement or refund depending on stock

Storage Responsibility

Once delivered, please store chocolates:

  • In a cool, dry place
  • Away from heat sources
  • Out of direct sunlight
  • We cannot refund items damaged due to improper storage after delivery.

5. Personalisation & Spelling

For personalised items (bags, sacks, labels, chocolate text, etc.):

  • We print exactly what the customer enters
  • Please double‑check spellings before checkout
  • We cannot refund or replace items where the customer provided incorrect spelling
  • If we make a spelling error, we will replace the item free of charge

6. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the issue
  • A brief description

We will offer either a replacement or a refund.

7. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Refunds typically take 3–5 working days to appear
  • Shipping costs are non‑refundable unless the item was faulty

8. Processing Times (Handmade Items)

Hand‑Printed Items

Up to 5 working days This covers printing, pressing, drying time, and remaking items if stock has just sold.

Chocolates & Crayons

1–2 working days

Mixed Orders

Usually 1–2 working days, depending on the items.

Processing time is in addition to delivery time.

9. Late Ordering & Event Deadlines

Please order in good time for your event. We cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless a guaranteed service is chosen at checkout.

Handmade items take time — we do not offer next‑day turnaround.

10. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty
  • We recommend using a tracked service
  • We cannot refund items lost in transit without proof of postage

  • Pom‑poms and small figures are securely attached, but children may still attempt to pull them off
  • These items should not be sucked, chewed, or placed in the mouth
  • If a decorative part becomes loose, remove it immediately and dispose of safely

Responsibility

By purchasing, the customer accepts responsibility for:

  • Monitoring children during use
  • Keeping small items away from those who may put objects in their mouth
  • Following all age and safety guidance provided

  • However, crayons can still pose a choking hazard if placed in the mouth. Please ensure children do not chew, suck, or bite crayons.

  • Paper cut‑outs
  • These items are not suitable for children under 3 years. Please keep all small parts away from babies and toddlers.
  • Allergies & Sensitivities
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for:

  • Monitoring any reactions during the session

Our chocolates are made in a kitchen that handles milk, soy, gluten and nuts. Customers must check all ingredient and allergen information before purchasing. We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for allergy reactions or sensitivities.

All crayons and craft materials used by Cosmos Pocket Rocket are non‑toxic and child‑safe when used as intended. Colour transfer may occur. Crayons should not be chewed, sucked or placed in the mouth.

Heat & Weather Disclaimer

Chocolate and wax products may be affected by warm weather. We may delay dispatch during extreme heat to protect your items. By ordering during warm periods, customers accept the risk of minor melting or softening.

Photography & Social Media Consent

We will never photograph or record children without clear parental or guardian consent. Any photos taken at events will only be used for marketing with permission. If consent is not given, no images will be captured.

Gift Orders & Address Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery addresses are correct at checkout. We cannot refund or replace orders sent to an incorrect address provided by the customer.

Seasonal Delays

Handmade items may take longer to process during busy seasons such as Christmas, Easter and school holidays. Please order early to avoid disappointment.
